"McMahon will have his work from the China trip in an exhibit at the Fermilab Art Gallery, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, in Batavia. Illinois from July 21 until Sept. 17. This is part of an exhibit called 'McMahon Family Affair' and includes other members of his family."From the artist's statement. "I have many years experience taking photographs for corporate and editorial clients. For the past fourteen years I have had a Web development company, Digimage, as well as doing photography. My exhibit at the Fermilab Art Gallery is a combination of the two avocations. I am showing mounted prints of Web pages I have built using my photographs and seen on my online visual blog at http://frankmcmahon.com/digcap/index.html. In October of '07 I was one of 10 photographers invited by the provincial government to document, interpret, and help define Rizhao City, Shandong Province, China, a port and resort on the east coast, http://frankmcmahon.com/rizhao/index.htm."
WTTW-TV segment on the exhibit On September 10 WTTW-TV, the Chicago PBS affiliate, ran a segment on the Fermilab exhibit. The segment discussed Frank's photographs and said that they added a "Web element to the exhibit".
