| The WIA Engine Shandong Co. is a joint venture with the Hyundai Motor Co., a South Korean company, and the Rizhao Port Group. WIA assembles 1.4 and 1.6 liter Alpha series motors for export to Russia, India and Turkey. |
| The Korean manager wanted to see our photographs. We communicated with him by the Korean manager speaking to the Chinese person who spoke Korean, speaking to the Chinese person who spoke English, who then spoke to us. Meanwhile we were all looking at the photographs in the back of Japanese made cameras. |

| Since we took these photographs a second WIA Engine plant has opened in Rizhao which quadruples the capacity of the WIA Engine Shandong Company. |
