About this site:
This site is a redo of one I built in late 1995, which was much in need of redo. However, the old site worked well and I wanted to retain some of its effective qualities in the new site. The old site can be seen here. Alas, one item that did not make the cut was the photograph of me, but it can be seen on the contact information page.

 Above is my business stationery logo layered over my current computer monitor wallpaper. My business is based in Chicago, the wallpaper is of my current hometown Galena. Though both urban Chicago and rural Galena are in Illinois, 150 miles apart in distance, they are light years apart in attitude. I spend a lot of time going back and forth.
 In Realspace I am a photographer with many years experience taking photographs for corporate and editorial clients (about my photography business).
 Here in Cyberspace I am a developer (about my web business) and Webmaster for a number of Web sites. The two spaces are more and more becoming one.
